The CAS National Cheerleading Championships (acronym CASNCC) is an annual national championships based on International Cheer Union (ICU) rules and scoring. CASNCC is open to all Singapore teams and provide different age divisions across all Cheer levels and Freestyle Pom.
The one day event focuses on providing a winning experience for all participants. Besides the traditional medallist placement of the top three teams in each division, EVERY registered member in EVERY team will also receive a gold (highly coveted), silver, bronze or merit certification based on their performance score.
CASNCC will be held at D’Marquee, Downtown East – the only one-stop leisure and lifestyle destination located right next to Singapore’s first nature inspired resort, with Wild Wild Wet Water Park, barbeque facilities, Pasir Ris Park and Pasir Ris Beach at its doorstep.

Warm Up, Competition
CASNCC welcomes all local cheerleaders, coaches, officials and supporters.
CASNCC is a prestigious platform for local cheer athletes to compete locally. There is great value in competing in a national competition which showcases different techniques and styles from teams all across Singapore. Cheerleaders are also able to make new friends and share knowledge and experiences. This will allow athletes to extend their skills and broaden their cheer horizons within the local community.
CASNCC places great importance in celebrating the achievements of our athletes. Besides awarding the top three teams in each divisions with medals and trophies, we have the Achievement Award Scheme which rewards every athlete with Gold, Silver, Bronze or Merit award based on their scores achieved during the competition. Each athlete will go home with a certificate from the event. Everyone goes home a winner!
The award score range is as follows:
Gold: 80% and above
Silver: 65% to below 80%
Bronze: 50% to below 65%
Merit: Below 50%

To propel Singapore to be an International Cheerleading Hub for Cheerleading events and competition in Asia and the world, CAS supports All ’Bout Cheer Event Company to host ACIC. As such, ACIC is supported by CAS and we believe the international event will benefit local cheerleaders in making new friends with fellow cheerleaders around the world and understand the different cultures involved.
1. Why are there no more Partner Stunts and Group Stunts Divisions in CASNCC?
Ans: As part of International Cheer Union’s (ICU) agreement with Federation International de Gymnastique (FIG), starting from Year 2017 all Partner Stunt and Group Stunt Divisions will be eliminated from all National Federation Country Championships. However, there will still be Partner and Group Stunt Divisions in ACIC, which is an event supported by CAS.
2. Why are CASNCC and ACIC having different registrations this year (2017)?
Ans: There were previous confusions between the two events. CAS decided to split CASNCC and ACIC into two separate events to allow better distinction and focus for local National Cheerleading Championships.
3. What will result from the split between CASNCC and ACIC?
Ans: Local teams are to note that it is not compulsory for them to join ACIC. Should they be interested in joining ACIC, they have to register separately for ACIC and there will be a separate fee. In addition, teams competing in both CASNCC and ACIC will have to compete and perform in their category separately, i.e. if a team competes in Coed Premier in CASNCC, the team will need to perform again during its equivalent division in ACIC.
4. Are both events free entry for spectators?
Ans: As per previous years, both events are free of charge to spectators. As part of CAS’ efforts to raise funds for the National team, priced seats are available on a first come first served basis.
5. Are local teams allowed to submit last minute substitutions for both CASNCC and ACIC?
Ans: No. We have observed the behaviour of teams not submitting any personnel in their substitution list and as a result caused numerous administrative issues due to last minute requests. As such, we will like to emphasize that we will not tolerate such issues and to highlight to teams to adhere to the submissions of your substitutions during your registration.
6. What if I have more enquiries with regard to CASNCC and ACIC?
Ans: Please email your enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
